Very heavy duty work happening. Derek transported on his back, all the ginger he had dug, up to the tool area then took it away gradually in an old wheelie bin.

Martin has been away in Australia for his job so while he has been away Pat and Derek have been digging gorse and paspalum out of the path dividing the upper and lower valley.  Derek has done most of the work Pat has dug out paspalum on the bottom ot the bank and created piles. It is so interesting that gorse seeds are dormant in the soil.

The previous week we cleaned up the area below the stadium bank and weeded the growth in that area. The plants think it is spring and are growing accordingly. Onion weed everywhere.
