The school Board invited us in for a meeting to discuss their plans. A number of people from the interested community were present.

The trappers have been finding more rats than ever in the traps. How unpleasant having to unload a rat from a trap. The school are using poison bait stations so Martin contacted Sheryl  to see if we could use poison on our trapping stations and she was okay with this. We haven’t used poison before due to the council thinking that the school would not want poison on their grounds but clearly this rat issue has concerned the school.

Last week a group held a meeting to plan for the public meeting to be held on the 30th August.

This week a Waicare representative came to check out the stream. Have not yet heard their conclusions.

Martin came across a Kereru in the valley on Sunday afternoon, he has made the greatest video of the bird, what a neat development.
